Dont do unlimited pinnacle please.

Like the title says, please dont do unlimited pinnacle attempts. This is not rewarding. It dismisses the need to improve yourself. It just will be a casual boss with no downsides. Just dont do it.

You already gave the casuals their number of trys, which is absolutely fine and I agree with that. The revive system is already really good. There is absolute no need in making this easier.

Added to this, please overthink the waystone progression. Its way too fast. I got t15 in really few hours with a casual random build and only 1 exa worth items and blue map spam only. Make map rarity and number of affixes worth it again.

Add challenge to the game again. The path to make everything easier is the wrong path. Its not were the game should head only because some beginning players cant handle it and are not willing to learn it. Hearing to players that will leave the game after a few days anway is not healthy.

Please dont make it more easy, make it even more challenging. For the love of my poe history. There are enough other easy games, if people wanna have them, but there are really few challenging games. I dont know why people want to change a game, that wasnt meant for them in first place. If you dont like basic features and philosophies, move on. And Im not talking about the good constructive critics, Im talking about people who clearly missed the point of this game, which are way too many at the moment.

You have to beat the boss full hp in one go, it's only difficult t0, do you really think is it a problem? You will not be able to farm while attempting the bosses, you will only beat if you improve yourself even if it has unlimited attempts.
This also give them margin to make bosses more difficult, because they can balance around people having unlimited attempts. Even in higher difficulties I would be ok with unlimited attempts if you always fight with same gear that you entered the fight.
Yea I absolutely think it is a problem. To have access to a pinnacle boss should be something special and should not guarantee a kill once you have discovered it. Because that is basically what unlimited tries means. It devalues the kill by a ton. Its not rewarding at all.

Having 6 trys is already a fair point and you never had more in poe1 as well. If you cant beat it in the first 6, make the way to it again, improve, learn more about your build, about the class. Impreove, learn, try again and feel way more special than doing it on 30 attempts on first appearance and maybe even having a huge loot luck, which you clearly didnt deserve after 30 attempts. Its an advantage for no hard work. It shouldnt be possible.

Its not good for anyone beside people who wants to beat a boss one time only and quit the game afterwards.
I agree with OP and I'm baffled with that change tbh. People asked for a "training mode", but without loot for a while now. That's exactly that, but with loot dropping which makes absolutely no sense.

I really hope this change doesn't make it to 1.0.

It's meant to be a practice mode so people can learn the fight properly and practice the mechanics.

I'm sick of PoE design expecting you to watch a youtube video to not waste days of farming because you get one shot by a boss you know nothing about.

This was the best change they made in a long time.
If its practice mode make it to drop no meaningful uniques. Because I dont want powerful uniques from practice mode bosses. It makes no sense. That would be like the only middle way I could kinda agree with and still wouldnt like it.
It's only the lowest difficulty version. Anyone who has had adequate practice with the unlimited attempts version will obviously not fight it more than once per league when they are trained to handle the higher difficulty fights with limited attempts since they will get much better loot.
I'm a special boy who needs to feel special so screw other people. Thats what it reads like.
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.
I'm actually happy for this change. I can finally try pinnacle bosses blind without youtube guide or something without a fear of losing key/invitation/whatever. But I agree it should not drop boss specific uniques until T1 or higher.
Yeah, it's pretty silly.

If anything, provide a single-use "quest item" or something that allows a single unlimited respawn t0 for your first skill book. No boss uniques.

And if they're gonna keep t0 unlimited, then the loot should be adjusted accordingly or move drops to higher difficulties.
