Atlas Map Completion Bug – Maps Show "Attempted" Instead of "Complete" Despite Successful Completion
Bug Report for Path of Exile Atlas Progression Issue
Subject: Atlas Map Completion Bug – Maps Show "Attempted" Instead of "Complete" Despite Successful Completion Description of the Bug: When completing a map in the Atlas, the game displays the "Complete" status upon finishing the map (as expected). However, after exiting the map and reopening the Atlas, the same map appears as "Attempted" instead of "Complete", and connected paths remain locked. This issue occurs consistently across all maps, regardless of their location in the Atlas, effectively blocking progression. What did i do step by step Open and complete any map in the Atlas. Observe the "Complete" status notification upon finishing the map. Exit the map and open the Atlas. The map now shows "Attempted" instead of "Complete", and connected paths do not unlock. Expected Behavior: After completing a map, it should permanently display "Complete" in the Atlas. Connected maps should unlock for further progression. Actual Behavior: Maps revert to "Attempted" after exiting. No new paths unlock, preventing Atlas progression. Additional Information: The issue persists across different maps and regions. Relogging/restarting the game does not fix the problem. No error messages appear—only incorrect Atlas tracking. Request: Please investigate this progression-blocking bug, as it severely impacts gameplay. I have recorded a video demonstrating the issue and can provide it if needed. Here is video which demonstrations my problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvuBHVhYgok&ab_channel=Dipressia Last bumped on May 26, 2025, 4:17:14 AM

I'm still experiencing the issue. Slotting in a new waystone in the attempted map will complete the map but doing maps twice is not ideal. It does not always happen, but mostly with maps I do not want to complete twice :/
