Poe 2 couch co-op experience

Hello, I do want to start this of with I love the concept. I do love games with combos such as MOBA and fighting games in order to maximise damage or to come up with a answer to get over a hurdle (more defense, more utility, cc, repositioning, mix ups etc)
I am very thankful for the fact there is couch co-op and on pc, I plug my laptop into the TV and hand my mate a controller and it just works until it doesn't.
I haven't gotten into poe1 but my friend has so it's good to hear the differences from him.

That being said, some things does get a bit annoying for couch co-op. Some things like bugs and ui issues, on the .2 patch league. After playing for a certain amount of time, eventually you have to log out to the character select screen as you cannot change tabs from inventory and the right button, left button (x box controllers) will close the menu. I do not know what triggers this. Act 3 after you get to time warp. For some reason, you get soft locked if you travel back to town, log out and relog. The camera is at a weird place and you cannot see your characters nor can you move we think? It's fixed by logging into each character and moving them somewhere else before co-op. That is annoying.

I don't believe there is enough currency drops for couch co-op. It's the same drops for single player but you have to split that for 2 people. Especially using currency for 2 people if you both want to respec to try and come up with an answer to beat a boss with increased difficulty because of couch co-op, buy the new gear if all the sudden there is items you both want, definitely not enough exalt orbs to add more modifiers for 2 people, plenty of regals but exalts have been scarce for us.

Movement speed can seriously mess with the friend who has not been lucky with Movement speed boots so if someone is zipping through, you try to dodge the other way but you don't move as the other player is heading the other direction and you still dodge into a skill shot and get one shot. You definitely cannot catch up to your friend to try and follow them so you end up messing him over as he cannot move on to dodge a skill shot and on a bossy gets one shot. (That is with defence passives, gear, skills etc)
It's even worse if anyone wants to play huntress because of disengage. Try to use that and you don't move as you might’ve been behind your co-op mate and the distance stops you from moving.

Co-op you both have to be damage heavy too in order to deal with a boss as they take easy too long to beat otherwise and with the amount of quick button press you're doing with your hand, it just hurts the hand eventually. Not every build in this game is equal.
I originally wanted to be a support base. I'm a frost mercenary whose damage from execution fragmentation bonuses and using herald of fire's over kill bonus. Home brew build as the frost effects are down right GORGEOUS! Eventually I had to spec grenades as that was the only really way to beat the bosses reliably so I could attempt to dodge but also deal damage to the boss song my dream build definitely is effective at clearing mobs, it not so effective at dealing with the high health sponges that becomes bosses. It also takes so long to cc them if your friend is a damage dealer and even than you end up losing so much without both of you being able to do single target damage.
Co-op I do love support roles so it is a me problem, I am adding to the noise of plenty of other feedback that a lot of different build paths are not satisfying unless you can one shot things as spending 5 to 10 minutes on a boss, hitting so many buttons just hurts the hands.
I swear the real answer to some of the bosses is to play it single player for each person as it is kind of crazy how much easier they can be without the extra person adding to the difficulty. Than hand the controller back after both players beat them and the other watching the TV.

I respect there is a vision on the game and not everything gets changed because of noise. "Unless we can stand for something, we will fall to everything". I do hope this feedback gets considered. We both love the game. It's just frustrating playing this co-op at points. Especially loot and currency drops. Single player drops for couch co-op is not fun and especially when we're trying to learn this game and it becomes difficult with both needing to optimise a build in order to spend around what seems like a 10 minute fight to die near end and try again. When the answer is play single player, not couch co-op. Why bother? My hand hurts.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post hopefully and thank you for this game and the accessibility to pay it with a friend, I really appreciate it.
