Problems with Elemental Skills (+Ignite)

Almost all of the elemental skills have problems.

Tier 1:
Firewall: does 0 damage, only ignites. ignite sucks
Ice nova: good spell
Frost bomb: takes too long vs non bosses
Spark: good spell

Tier 2:
Ember Fusillade: awkward to use. overcapping the amount of balls does not shoot them. if you keep spamming the ability you will never shoot them (unique staff)
Frostbolt: projectile is too slow for the low amount of dmg it does.
Orb of Storms: do i need to be in this? does the enemy need to be in this? what is my range?

Tier 3:
Incinerate: does 0 damage. only ignite. ignite sucks + the windup resets instantly on releasing, so you cannot dodge or get staggered.
Solar Orb: good for 1 pulse and then the enemies leave its range.
Cold Snap: good spell
Arc: does not apply shock which makes it useless other than cast on shock. but Lightning Conduit is better for that anyways and can shock. cannot use projectile/area of effect talents or skill gems making this skill very hard to build around.

Tier 4:
Fireball: IT MISSES! you target an enemy it just shoots over it. low damage, ignite sucks.
Frostwall: good spell thou even with icicle very hard to destroy.
Mana Tempest: costs too much mana to actually use, you are stuck to a position. you cannot see ground effects.
Lightning Warp: execute? you either oneshot the enemy or the enemy oneshots you. can be funny on ball lightning i guess.

Tier 5:
Firestorm, Odds of hitting targets is too low. even if you do hit it the non empowered bolts do low damage. Cast time is too long
Comet: 2 sec cast time of which 1sec is unscalable is brutally long. its unusable unless everything is already frozen or you are inside your frostwalls.
Ball Lightning: Might aswell heal the enemies with how little damage it does. Even with 750% increased shock chance. odds of shocking are low as it scales of damage

Tier 6:
Flame Blast, giving this a cooldown means you either full clear your screen or die.
eye of winter, might aswell heal the enemy with how little damage it does.
lightning conduit. brutally long cast time but very powerfull. so i guess

Ignite:
hitting an enemy for 100 damage will ignite them for 20 damage over 4 seconds.
If after 1s you hit the enemy again for 100 damage. this means your first ignite did 5 damage. the 2nd ignite will overwrite the first one and the cycle continues. with 100% ignite chance and default ignite magnitude you get an extra 5-10% as ignite damage which is really bad.
ignite should take the remaining dot damage left on the target and add it to the next ignite. as long long as that doesn't happen ignite can never work. small hits don't proc ignite and even if they do it barely does damage. big hits delete the enemy do no ignite either.
