Tracking Scroll of Treasures – does not track unique item pickups

I purchased a Tracking Scroll of Treasures, but it does not count any unique items I pick up. The counter remains at 0 despite multiple confirmed unique drops. The other two scrolls – Tracking Scroll of Hunting and Tracking Scroll of Headhunting – are working as intended.
