Endgame Feedback 2.0

My Feedback for 0.2.0 after 200 Hours playing :

1. Good Progress in Endgame Development, but it's far from being satisfying and far from being fun. Towers and Tablets had a big improvement, but if you can not solve the Problem that no one wants to Grind for Towers and for Areas just to be able to finally grind for loot then I actually doubt this kind of Atlas/ Endgame has any Future. Unfortunately ... it was / is a great idea, but its just not fun to explore, something is essential in its core is missing . You might need to come up with a completely different Endgame, actually.

2. This goes hand in Hand with Point Number 1 ... if you can't find any other Way then clearing all Rare Mobs in the Maps, then Mapping is just boring. I think you should rethink the whole stuff around Mapping and how to progress.
As trash Mobs drop really NOTHING, Gameplay becomes so stupid and boring as you basically just rush from Rare to Rare.

3. Gameplay and Combat is ugly. It really stinks. You get knocked back all the time, pushed through Areas, your Character always feels clunky ... permanently getting body-blocked. Characters are unresponsive. And everything is just too slow . Also, there are roughly any situations where you have to dodge something or where you feel any challenge in combat (it's actually better in POE1 - there over time you learn how to dodge specific Monster Packs and what you have to do when you face them) . Also, i don't like that Rares/Uniques and Magic Monster are too hard to identify on your Screen ...not like in Poe1 where you can clearly see a "Golden Shine" or "Blue Shine" around them.

4. Bosses are not challenging

5. Loot was a mess, but I'm sure you will work on that.I actually did like that Divines are that Rare but the Problem of the Loot is not that there are too less Divines ...its just that nothing else (like Items) are dropping. Atzmeri Spirits so basically this Leagues Mechanic failed hard , they reduced Loot 100 % sure about this and yes there is a mathematical fault (because everything about a Computer Game is Mathematics)

6. i didnt see any improvement in the Gem Handling / Gem cutting Menu .... The handling is very bad , i just dont want to swap and create new Supports/Ideas just because i would need to open that Menu again.

7. I did Simulacrum farming and did around 100 Successful Simulacrums T4 ... i did get 2 Times a "Diamond" and 90 Times a "Assylium Helmet" . ok i admit i only have 100 % increased Rarity on my gear ... but you know the content is hard i cant fit in anymore at the moment. i think its already a lot for this kind of content.

8. Before I forget ... Waystone sustain was very good, BUT ... when you reach the final Endgame where you only want to run Specific Waystones ... the rolling of them is sooooo tedious . i dont like it. I want a kind of Chaos Orb for Waystones ( or well maybe i want a completely different Endgame) . Can we not just get Maps again ? So we can choose which Map we want to run . I really dont want to run anymore Seepage or Vaal City please .

9. You need to find something to reduce the amount of "China Farming Dudes"

10. Crafting doesnt exist ... which actually makes the whole Game completely questionable to play at all ?!

hahah the last one is the best!
Actual state of PoE2 (after 0.2 patch) literally force people to use third part of web pages....although you have no real life and you want play 24/day.
very genuine feedback, honest and well-put together. I appreciated reading it even as someone who hasn't spent much time in maps..

it's always interesting for me to read these, I can't imagine playing softcore but in hardcore I don't get very far into the maps, and it's actually my least favorite part, I feel like the game is over at maps, rather than just starting as softcore players say. I am looking forward to having all 6 acts released, with a lot of new powerful bosses and a much-needed improvement to the feeling of character progression in the campaign.

it's actually quite nice to see someone suggesting that maybe it needs a new endgame entirely, as I said I don't really even UNDERSTAND the purpose of maps, because I want to feel a continual progression for at least 90% of the game and then the last 10% could be "OK, I've finished the game, now time for some final-fantasy-esque superboss type stuff to really see how my character can hold up".

but the idea of rushing to the end part of the game just so I can see pretty stuff fall on the ground more often is a sad thing, sad. there's such a depth of challenge and content in this game that players miss when they are only after the shinies with infinite lives.

sorry I sort of stole your thread with my musing.
