Mission to kill Olroth for the first time not giving atlas points

After killing olrroth for the first time. Right at the beginning of the endgame, on the quest to give logbook to Dannig, the book of knowledge was dropped. I used it inside the boss chamber. No passive points were given. It has been really slow to get those points. When we get the book and didn't get the points is SOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING.
