Briarpatch + Trail of Caltrops Interaction

According to the advanced skill info, the Briarpatch Unique Boots do not seem to add any base crit chance to the Trail of Caltrops spirit gem. I am unsure if this is a bug or an oversight, but the Trail of Caltrops spirit gem should be changed to be affected by modifiers to thorns crit.
