Path of Exile 2: A Dream Turned Nightmare?
|
I loved Path of Exile 2. It was everything I wanted—challenging, rewarding, and built on a well-designed trading system. But that dream started to crumble. First, farming bots flooded the economy, making fair trading impossible. I hoped they would be banned, but instead, the latest changes made the game even more bot-friendly, breaking its core balance.
By drastically lowering item drop rates, you’ve created a system where bots thrive while regular players suffer. A normal player—someone with a job who plays on weekends—now faces an exhausting grind just to earn enough currency for crafting. Did you design this game expecting everyone to farm for 10 hours a day? If the balance only works for those who dedicate excessive time, it stops being accessible to the broader player base. This raises the bigger question: Is Path of Exile 2 designed for your satisfaction alone, or for the players who support it? If it’s just for you, keep it for yourselves. But if it’s for us, why haven’t you addressed these glaring issues? Player numbers are dropping fast, yet there’s still no meaningful response. Are you too proud to admit that these changes were a mistake? Because ignoring the problem only shows a lack of good management—ones who should be making the right calls to save the game. The worst part? You changed everything all at once, without seeing player reactions first. This rushed approach drives players away, and when people leave for other games, don’t expect them to return. If you don’t act soon, Path of Exile 2 won’t be remembered as a legendary sequel, but as a game mismanaged into oblivion. For three months, this game felt like a legend. But now, it seems I’ve reached the end of its story—a legend called Path of Exile 2, knocked down to the ground by the hunters. Last bumped on Apr 18, 2025, 1:23:59 AM
