Trial of chaos lvl 80 not rewarding ascendancy points

Completed a level 80 trial of chaos with 10 trials on it. Interacted with the altar to get ascendancy points but none were rewarded. Tried it multiples to get them. Anyone else having this issue or have a fix?

If you are trying for ascendancy points 7 and 8, you must get it from Trialmaster. You have to run a 10-round Trial with 3 different fates (dropped or bought), fight Trialmaster, win, then you get those points.

You need to beat The Trialmaster. To access him, you need the 3 Fates from 3x10 round Trials of Chaos.
