Getting Banned
Hey,
I bought poe2 on my PS when it first came out. And since I have a PC i tried to play the game there as well however im already used to playing on consile that I decided to to just refund the game. Now I’m getting banned for it. 600 hrs of gameplay even without interaction with other players just minding my business and GGG’s response is to ban me for refunding the game on steam. What a joke of a policy. Please refund me the in game currency I bought yesterday since its all useless now that Im getting banned. Never touching this game again. What a complete waste of time Last bumped on Apr 28, 2025, 10:43:44 PM

" Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that! Could you please email us at support@grindinggear.com so we can look into this matter for you? |

" Getting a ban for charging back purchases is going happen almost anywhere. 🤦♂️ From the credit processing companies perspective your demanding your money back because you'd rather play on a different platform looks the same as someone demanding money back because the merchant (in this case GGG) scammed them. Too many instances of that will get their processing rates increased or them banned by their payment processor. Had you gone through GGG support first I believe they could have refunded your PC purchase in trade for one on PS in a way that wouldn't upset the payment companies. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? " No. Not GGG in this case. The OP never mentioned a chargeback. They said they asked Valve for a refund of a purchase on Steam. The payment processor literally won't be aware of GGG's relation to the purchase at all. Valve voluntarily electing to perform a refund is not going to "upset the payment companies." "VPs are not required to change their posting style. They are still welcome to express their opinions and take part in any discussions they wish. Their only responsibility is to continue doing what they have always done - posting in a friendly and constructive manner."
