Cannot take atlas path from current completed map to tower

Path from my current location to the shown tower cannot be taken, despite a dashed path between the two.

After moving off the node to the next area the tower became accessible

This is still happening. At least once I've seen paths between nodes disappear after connecting to the previously "inaccessible" node from a different neighbor.


Many maps have been cleared since activating the adjacent tower to the map on the left, but it is still not accessible.
