Boss not dropping quest item (PS5 and PC)

I killed Ekbab for the Mastodon Tusks in Act 2 cruel but it will not drop. Can’t progress my character

I’ve done the fight multiple times now and it’s still not fixed. It does the same thing on PC too. Says I’ve beaten the boss and need to pick up the tusks but they never drop. If someone could help me that’d be great cause I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong. I did my ascendancy out of order, so I did Trial of Chaos first instead of Sekhema but idk why that would effect a boss drop.
