Infuse weapon only infusing lightning

My L35 Huntress runs Lightning builds mostly, but against Faridun I swapped over to mainly blood and ice. I don't have any lightning based skill or support gems, but my gloves do 1-22 lightning damage. IT doesn't seem like that should be making infuse not do cold infusion and instead do lightning infusion. Whenever I get infusions popping up, from freezes no less, it says I have lightning infusion, and that's what I see happening when the next ranged hits a target.

I should also note, I don't see any target appearing with any shock or lightning buildup either, just frost/cold

Elemental Infusion grants Infusions based on the charges you consume, not on the damage you deal.
Consuming Frenzy Charges grants Lightning Infusion.

Are you consuming Power Charges?

Oh I somehow missed that part. Yeah, frenzy charges. Ok so this is as intended. It would be awesome to have some way to track what is causing what to happen when hovering icons. Sometimes I don’t even know if my effects are happening as intended or even at all.
