The Phaaryl Megalith - Runes Removed

Bug 1:
I left the map after the final boss fight in the unique map 'The Phaaryl Megalith' because my bags were full. Upon returning to the map, all of the blue rune circles around the boss arena were no longer clickable. I didn't click any of them and still have no idea what they do. I'm trying my best not to be angry/rude, so I'll just say this is really frustrating for how rare these unique maps are.

Feedback:
Side note, these unique maps do not standout well enough for how rare they are. In my opinion, once a unique map is no longer obscured by fog, it should be A LOT more noticeable than a slightly different colored circle. Make that shit glow or something. Yeah yeah yeah...this is "early access" but exploring the overworld needs to be significantly more engaging. I should uncover an area of the map from a tower and think "oh shit, I gotta check that out." At the moment, besides beelining to the next quest objective to unlock atlas skills, the overworld is dull, uninteresting and completely falls-flat. IMO map exploration in the overworld is more tedious and annoying than it is fun. The problem, as I see it, is that there's no "exploration." Everything looks roughly the same in every direction. I think overworld exploration should be more similar to exploring a dungeon in a traditional RPG; if you spend time going the "wrong" direction, you should be rewarded.

Bug 2:
While I'm here, I might as well mention there's another bug in that image. The burrowing worm boss left a piece of his decayed husk in the middle of the area after it died. Subsequent bosses got stuck on it and weren't able to attack. Thankfully I could still hit them with ranged attacks (but not from all angles).
