Magma barrier + Persistence

Why doesn't the support gem increase the magma infusion window? Magma barrier has "duration" tag, so it SHOULD work, right?

It does. But it's only 40% increase on a .5 second window. They need to make the base duration of magma barrier higher. A half-second is way too short a time in general for how all different types of mobs have different attack animations and timings.

I know it's a tiny window. But looking at the gem info/stats, the duration number remains the same with or without the support gem. I assumed it would go from 0,5 to 0,7 but no. That's why I was confused. Perhaps it's just a visual bug.
And yes, the current state of the gem makes it useless, imo. |
