Trials of chaos Red Ring of death de-renders if you are below it

Fighting Ut-zall boss, red ring was expanding on floor 2, I went down to the water, Ring disappeared and i thought it blew up. I run back up stairs a couple steps and it reappears and instantly kills me. Chimera is bad enough plz fix

Confirmed this happened to me as well. It nearly killed me as well, during the boss fight, just like you! I walked up the stairs to trigger the fight or whatever and on the way down the ring started expanding, disappeared, then reappeared and very nearly killed me. I would have reported it earlier if I had died.
