"Failed to connect to instance"

Does anyone know a fix to this? I have gotten this message every time at the main menu when I try to load into the Dawn of the Hunt league and have never gotten this before. Its been almost 12 hours, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing I've tried worked.

Have you tried logging in on different characters? It sounds like a problem that might be specific to one character and their "last known location" in the game.

Logging in as someone else doesn't help fix the problem but it's at least a clue about what's going wrong. Where were you when you last logged out/disconnected? Does it have a location for your character on the main menu?

Honestly it sounds like a problem that might need intervention by support. If your toon is "stuck" in an invalid location that can't be loaded by your client there's probably not much you will be able to do from your end to address it; hopefully support can forcibly relocate you. Assuming you've put in a request/ticket, I might consider starting an alt for now while you wait for a response.

I just tried loading in my Standard league character and that loaded just fine. So you think this is an instance issue where the game can't find exactly where he is??
