Map Boss Skill Point not granted

Did Map boss Tier 15 -> got a skill book (called whatever I)
Did Map boss Tier 15 irradiated -> got a skill book (called whatever II)

Then, instead of doing a 15 irradiated and corrupted:
Did Map boss Tier 16 irradiated and corruped -> got a skill book (called whatever III)

After this, tried doing 16, 16 irradiated, 16 corrupted, 16 irradiated and corrupted (and the same with tier 15).

I cannot get the last book (I think it has something to do with me doing first the Tier 16 irradiated and corrupted before the previous ilevel).

Tried with extra boss difficulty 3 and 4 (this only with 16 irradiated and corrupted) and still nothing. All the maps were rare but less than 5 mods.

A list of things to be done should appear on the Map Boss Skill Point Tree same as for The Feared and such in PoE 1 (These are the 5 things you have to do, these ones you have done). Probably would help to debug these kind of issues as well in the future.

I'm having a possibly similar problem. I completed a level 80 zone (T15 + I
Irradiated) before completing a level 79 zone (T15). I still got 4 map boss atlas points, but now that I've completed a level 81 zone (T16 + Irradiated) nothing dropped.

That level 81 map I completed was a tower map boss, so that could be an alternative explanation if tower map bosses are failing to drop map boss skill books.

I saw yesterday that one map (just one) of a corruption zone had +1 to area level. My guess is that now I have to make that map have a boss and be irradiated. Will clear all the maps of the zone to force it to be and will report later on this.

Corrupted maps now don't seem to add +1 level as before, but a corrupted map CAN have a +1 level.

when you clear a corrupted map you will have 1 (maybe more) but must have 1 map with +1 level so you need to put irradiated and boss on it and you will have it on the level you need with t16 map

I just did an irradiated T16 boss to get the 5/6 points for the map boss atlas and did not receive the book. The boss I fought was The Lord of the Pit on the Deserted map.


Posted a screen shot of the dead boss and the map info showing it is the correct level for the 3 set of points from bosses.

In the end, it is what I theorised. Corruption maps now have some random properties (one being +1 to monster level). So it has to be one of these specific maps, T16, irradiated and with a boss.
