How long did it take You guys to find a single citadel?

As the title says... I am farming t14/15 corruption nexus at 9 atm so I cleared pretty huge area and not a single citadel. Idk what else to do :D. Any tips? Came to softcore to train bosses so I can go back to ssf hc -_- . Thanks!

It didnt take that long you gotta push outward but ended up getting 8 citadels pretty quickly moving outward. Pretty quickly as in less then 40 maps outward not including the pathing toward them to kill the citadels and towers to amp them though.

Hard to say, I stayed near my starting area and farmed xp before moving outward. Think if I were to do a shortest path between start and first citadel I found, maybe like 25-35 maps?

Not too long. You gotta push out from the center to see more. Level 90 and have 4 or 5 on my map currently, and that's not actively looking for them. The light beams definitely made finding them much easier.

I found my first couple of citadels very early, like even before hitting T15 maps.
In fact i found once a cluster of 3 citadels, all withing the same tower.
After clearing those first 7-8 citadels, nothing,
I've done several hundreds of maps, going further and further from starting location, and i have not found a single citadel since.

In 0.1 i had no problem finding citadels even before the ligths were added, in fact i was farming them on mass and selling the keys.

1 day in endgame.its very easy.

No beams in my version of the game after 5 minutes of moving the atlas. I feel like bugged

12 hours of mapping moving nearly straight out from home. Found my first, failed it, haven't found another yet.

idk if am lucky...

but i do 3-4 citadels per day.

strategy: look all around atlas map, where ever i see a pilar of light or a fire pilar i follow it, because it is a citadel. i dont follow one direction, i follow citadels.
