WHAT is corrupted nexus, and how to find it ?

there is NO help in the game atm, telling you WHAT it is, WHERE it is.

Any idea from skilled players ?

Corrupted Nexus is the new mechanic that grants you Atlas Points. You need to find and complete 15 Corrupted Nexus's to get 30 Atlas Points. If you fail the map, you lose the Corrupted Nexus node and you'll have to find a new one.

You can find them by looking for areas of corruption on the Atlas tree. If you zoom into the towers on the fog, you can sometimes see the towers with corruption on them or you can see the Nexus poking through the fog.

Your goal should be hunting Nexus until you complete your Atlas. Drops are absolutely terrible, so don't even try juicing and farming maps until the Atlas is completed. Pick a direction and travel it nonstop. But first get all the towers in your area or that you can see in the fog. The other 10 Atlas points come from Unique map nodes you'll find along the way.

I personally hate this mechanic. It just slows the player down even more to getting to juiced maps.

No. Inside a corrupted area you’ll find a node like this (has the bright red icon). You need to clear it with a waystone with at least 4 affixes.

And a tip for finding corrupted areas, you can kind of see them in the fog. Look for towers with hints of those red brambles sticking up. Or the blackish monolith thing shown centered in the image above. Both will peek through the fog.

Ah, they finaly add new ICONS for it.

But instead make it like Blue, or Purple, they again use RED.

Finished campaign with about 10-15 exalt in bank, after clearing few nexus, now down to about 8 exalts, was saving the ex to buy some early end game gear to progress, now need to spend them to upgrade the rare keystone to 4 mods.
