Where is the Weapon Lock mechanic?

Before 0.2 official announcement, they teased a new Weapon Lock mechanic that would come together with the next Content Update.

It has been more than a month since the annoucement and 10 days since Dawn of the Hunt release but it wasn't still implemented. We had a couple of "future changes" posts, interviews, updates and things like that, but I didn't see any mention to the previous announced Weapon Lock mechanic.

Was there any news/mention about it that I missed?
