Now I understand what people are complaining about.

I just reached endgame, a few hours ago at the start of act3 cruel I thought to myself " why are people complaining? This game is awesome." I got some currency, enough rares to disenchant for regals. My build was working as intended the way I interpeted GGG vision. Then I started my first map. What a clusterfuck that was. I felt like I was running a POE1 map with the mob speed and density. Only difference is that while mobs get the zoomzoom of old, I'm moving like a 90 year old in a retirement home. I have movementspeed boots in my stash I don't use because I don't want to give up my resistances. But I'm not crafting them because I feel I will get punished for spending currency on equipment now instead of later on maps and tablets. The amount of headache for the rewards is simply not worth it. Don't craft maps, don't get loot. Don't craft items, die in maps and don't get loot. I'm not sure how to progress at this point. Another thing I've noticed in maps is that there is little to no monster variety so far. This might be because I'm in a specific area. But I also noticed a lot of rare mobs having the same modifiers on the same map. Hasted, the lava bomb thing and extra chaos damage/resistance are EVERYWHERE. It's so prevalent I was thinking of just taking some passive nodes to mitigate those mods because why take the frost resistance nodes when all I ever see is fire/chaos mods on mobs? The game shines in some parts and then does a complete 180 at random moments. Like act 2 struggling with the pacing and act 3 is so amazing with the city and the awesome sights. This post is a bit of a mess but I hope GGG can do something with the feedback. Because when the game does what was intended it's awesome.

wait until you get to higher tier maps, it gets only worse.

I do not know how much player base will stay after they reach endgame if so many people were complaining about the campaign.
