1h mace weapons are now literally useless on PoE2

Title says...

All warriors even used 2h mace weapons and it's mandatory, because of high damage, but at the cost of speed.

Meanwhile 1h mace weapons, because of high attack speed, but at the cost of DPS...


So the question is...

Does that mean 1h mace weapons will be the most useless in the game?

No. I do not think 1H mace is useless.

Sometimes I switch between 1H mace and shield and 2H mace, depending on the danger situation of the area that I am in.

Sometimes I might even go dual wield 1H mace, depending on the circumstances.

Hence I don't agree with you.
