Dawn of the hunt Season

Please don’t tell me this game forces you to restart all progress every couple of months. I have already acquired 15 tabs worth of gear. Plus a brand new spear I was hoping to try out on the new class. However the two seasons don’t share a tab which leads me to believe this game is exactly like Diablo where you have to start over every couple months from scratch.

that's how it works yes it's longer than 2 months though more like 3 or 4

There is always a permanent league available, standard.
You can keep playing your current characters in the future, but they are subject to change. Items will change, passive tree will change. You do not "have" to restart all progress, you are not forced to. There are many players who continue to play poe1 standard, even to this day, much like you the thought of starting over again does not appeal. It comes at a cost though, trade disappears, active players disappear as majority prefer starting again. But if that doesn't discourage you, then continue to play the characters you've built and loved, just mindful they are subject to change going forward. |

This is how PoE has always worked, and it's the only way to keep an economy in a game like this even halfway sane.
