Will using "DLSSGtoFSR" lead to account banning?
I am writing to seek clarification on a matter that concerns my gaming experience. Currently, I am experiencing significant performance issues while running POE2 on my computer, which is equipped with an NVIDIA GTX 970 graphics card. Despite adjusting all in-game settings to their lowest possible values, I am unable to maintain a stable 30 frames per second (FPS), resulting in a highly unsatisfactory gameplay experience.
During my research, I came across a software called "DLSSGtoFSR" on the open-source platform GitHub. This technology is designed to enhance frame rates and, consequently, improve overall gaming performance. The original author's download link for this tool is provided below: [Insert Link Here: https://github.com/Nukem9/dlssg-to-fsr3/releases] I fully understand and appreciate the stringent measures POE2 takes against cheating and the use of unauthorized plugins, and I am in complete agreement with such practices. However, I am eager to know whether the utilization of this open-source plugin, which is intended solely for performance enhancement and not for cheating, would be considered a violation of your terms of service or result in account suspension or ban. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated as I am keen on continuing to enjoy POE2 without compromising on my gaming experience. Thank you for your understanding and for taking the time to address my concern. Last bumped on Apr 13, 2025, 3:16:18 PM

GGG has a blanket policy of not permitting this, regardless of what the claimed stated aims are. I would note that it’s not at all difficult for them to detect such actions being taken. I find it difficult to justify optional purchases to support a Tencent-owned development studio that declines to provide customers Technical Support, regardless of how many thousands of euros that customer has spent...
