eater of worlds - no invitation drop.

Can anyone help me out? I have done the 28 without any invitation, and then it just reset back to 0/28. I then did 13/28, 14/28 , 15/28 and 16/28 without a loot filter to make sure it didn't filter out a dropped item. Any advice on the issue? I read that some people are using atlas passives such as "Etched by Acid", but I don't. I only have loot related stuff, like higher % to get scarabs and Grove.

Try looking for other posts in this section. I don't know the answer, but people ask about questions related to this fairly often. One thing I heard someone say is make sure Kirac is in hideout, check Kirac for the invitation, scrolling down on his text options.

I've heard some people asking about the number going over 28 and continuing, but not sure about it resetting.

Yeah, already tried looking for the answer. Both on the forums, reddit and youtube. At best I can find other people asking the same question without getting an answer.

And sadly already have Kirac in the hideout, and clicked on everything he has to say.

Yeah there is something funny with it. I don't think it is a bug necessarily, but there is something unintuitive with all this atlas stuff that causes a lot questions like this on the forum. Can't say exactly what it is, because I don't run into it. There is enough people that do though, to convince me that they need to tidy it up in some way.

Alot of the time it has to do with interacting with Kirac somehow. Sometimes it is to do with it not working after migration or partying. Sometimes it is people not understanding the atlas layout or watchstones or requirements to unlock map frag slots.

Did you check your fragments tab (if you have one), to see if the invitation is in there?

Yeah not sure. Have you done the eater of worlds encounter at all yet? Do you have the watchstone from completing? Or have you tried the fight without completing? Or have you not got any invitations to it at all as of yet?

I'm assuming you have done it at least once, because you don't get the counter otherwise? Maybe there is some sort of state change or bug encountered since then.

The first time it drops it is a quest item. Then the ones after that are misc map items.

It seems to me like it should of dropped since the counter has reset. Which is strange, because it does not seem possible they are not getting picked up, with all the steps you are going through. I would suggest checking your other character, but since you now missing the next invitation it also doesn't make sense. Also that it might be somewhere else in your stash, because those invitations are fairly bland looking at don't stand out, but doesn't explain why you are not seeing them drop.

The only place it would be on the fragments tab is in eldritch sub tab. I assume you have this tab selected for fragment affinities?

Is it possible to post the links of other people mentioning they are encountering the same thing? It might be helpful to finding an answer.
