Fixing blue screen and constant crashes [SOLVED]

After many tests and even losing two processors, I finally discovered the reason behind the frequent crashes and even blue screens that the game has been presenting recently. I will explain the step-by-step guide to solve this problem.

In the last update, many players have been facing unexpected crashes and even the dreaded blue screen, making gameplay difficult and making it impossible to progress. Interestingly, the problems occur even on computers with robust configurations. In my case, I have a 13th generation i9, an RTX 4090 and 64 GB of RAM, and even so, the FPS drops and blue screens in Windows were frequent.

I performed countless tests: I changed drivers, tried Vulkan and DirectX 11, replaced the video card, SSD and RAM, but the problem persisted. So, I decided to test the only component that had not yet been changed: the processor. I changed to a 13th generation i7 and again had problems. Then I realized that, for some reason, processors with multiple cores or older did not present these errors. I decided to go further and put together a simple configuration: an 8th generation i3 with the RTX 4090. Surprisingly, the game ran perfectly for two days without any glitches. But why? What was different about this processor? The answer: the absence of Hyper-Threading.

After analyzing and studying it further, I discovered that the game uses the processor's Hyper-Threading at 100% of its capacity, causing abnormal processing that the system cannot detect through conventional applications. This behavior leads to crashes and performance issues.

To monitor and fix the problem, I used a free application called Process Lasso*, which allows you to enable or disable processor cores and Hyper-Threading. I tested core by core and noticed that, even if the game is configured to use multiple cores, it respects the settings defined in Process Lasso. This may be the definitive solution for those who face these problems.

If you are going to test it: Use 16 physical cores, your game will run perfectly! It is not necessary to keep Hyper-Threading active.

Another important point: In CPU properties / Always / Normal
Keep this setting for E/S Priority as well.

I hope this information helps you enjoy the game without any problems. Good luck and see you soon!
