Loading issues for the past few days

I play on Canada East and for the 2 years I've been playing have never experienced issues like this outside of during a league launch for a day or 2. For the past few days I'm constantly having to click my portals or waypoints multiple times for them to work. It's getting incredibly frustrating. I get messages saying "Activation failed. Unable to open portals to area" trying to open a new map, or "Error: failed to join any instances" using portals.
