POE2 Account compromised / gear stolen

Hello.
I play in the Steam client (Under the protection of the Steam Guard mobile authenticator)
No other clients are connected.
Someone managed to bypass the restriction on logging in from a new location. I did not receive a Steam Guard code, by email or anything else. My email address was not hacked, since it has a different password and confirmation comes via SMS
So the issue is on the side of the Stand alone client, which I have never logged into on this computer.
While waiting for a response from support, let's figure out how this is possible? How can you log into the client without confirmations???

I'm sad about the time spent on purchasing equipment for Poe2. I'm even more afraid of how they were able to log into the Poe 2 account?

Every time I logged in from a different IP in the past GGG used to send a verification email. But seems they disabled this in POE2, because nowadays a large parto f the world uses dinamic IPs. I think they should do a middle ground and force an email verification if you log from a different COUNTRY at least
Sure they cancel this option. i get game - paid money - and got hacked.
