Make fire damage compelling

Cold damage can chill and freeze - great crowd control
Lightning damage can shock (and possibly electrocute)- which is a global increase to enemy damage taken.

Fire damage imposes 1 stack of ignite - which feels underwhelming

Both cold and lightning feel compelling to incorporate into your build while fire damage feels meh.

Is it possible to add an additional reward mechanic for ignite.
1. Letting ignite stack
2. When an enemy is ignited for longer than x seconds:
A. Ignite explodes
B. For the next x seconds, ignite turns into immolate. Immolate - damage from ignite is applied immediately instead of over time
C. The ground beneath the enemy turns into ignited ground within x meters.
D. Ignite causes an inferno, applying ignited to enemies within an x meter radius.

Imo the main issue with Ignite is that it is based on chance unlike in PoE 1.

Who wants to have their damage on basis of "maybe"? against bosses it is worse because they are harder to ignite.

Have no idea how much passive points you have to spend on "chance to ignite" to have it reliably ignite bosses. And no one really wants to have additional stat to spend passive points to just to have their damage trigger.
