Just finished a Warrior campaign run & it was an absolutely miserable experience. Solutions...

Problems:
1. No loot anywhere (probably had 1exh drop per act. 5 regals total through all acts...), no item upgrades from the ground, only store.
2. No possibility to play around with skill gems to see which combos might work best as there's not enough skill / support gems provided.
3. No crafting materials drop & consequently zero chance for any sort of possibility to play around with items.
4. Monsters go at you like they're in a sugar rush while you're a slowpoke with -50 movement speed. Playing feels painfully slow.
5. Bosses have a million HP, the fights aren't engaging, they're annoying... a slogfest which makes you relieved when it's finally over. I legit spent 15mins on Jamanra fight.
6. We do no damage unless we're using a busted build, there's no semblance of balance. People talking on Reddit how they flew through campaign all used one of the same 3 builds. There's no variation.
7. No way in hell am I going to run any other character through campaign again to try out a different build / ascendancy. We need ascendancy respec to at least be able to try out 3 variations without having to run 3 campaigns and wasting what would currently be 45-60h just to run 3 campaigns.

Solutions:
- Add a low lvl gem shop to every main town starting with Clearfell, selling low lvl gems for 1gold (similar to current wisdom scrolls) so we can actually play around with skills. Ideally make the shop sell up to your gem level and make the cost close to zero.
- Change the gems menu to an inverted pyramid where most skills are available earlier on and only a very class specific skill is available later (I.E. Hammer of the gods for warrior).
- Increase player movement speed base stat, add ms implicit to boots & give us movement speed gems or flask imbuements or anything to complement. There are three pillars in an ARPG, offense, defense & speed. The only one currently working is offense. Defense options are the same (ES + X). Speed basically can't be improved past MS on boots.
- Nerf white mobs / overall mob / boss hp. I literally don't want to do an auto attack (which for some reason does substantially more damage than any mana costing skill) ever again after this. Killing mobs in 0.2.0 is less fun than watching paint dry.
- Increase crafting material drops exponentially. Perhaps add mandatory drops to every relevant encounter through acts (like witch, devourer, lachlan, executioner, any mini boss, etc.). Also, boost loot drops (mandatorily rares+) in relevant encounters like mini bosses across all acts, so players actually feel rewarded for the fights.
- Un-do most nerfs from 0.2.0 and run them again this time bringing skills that need it down to a balanced level where they're still viable instead of absolutely gutting everything which makes no sense. We need build diversity & chase builds. Every single high lvl runner is currently doing LS...
- The perfect benchmark IMO of a good campaign rhythm (both speed & player power) using a POE1 example is Templar with rolling magma / comet. It's the perfect power lvl / speed yet also has interesting boss fights (which can be even harder in PoE2, as the bosses have such great design).

With the current state of the game, replayability with alts & trying out different builds / ascendancies is simply out of the question, at least for me. I'm sure the numbers will reflect that at the end of 0.2.0 across the player population unfortunately.
A really easy way for you to get some data on key points of contention would be to send out a survey to players inquiring about their current experience, limiting to one input per account, as well as doing another campaign race. Would love to see the average time results from all participants compared to the last one.
