compaign is extremely boring
its very hard slow and drudgery. I do not want to play another character because i got PTSD from going through the campaign the first time. I will only have 1 character in this league this season theres no way u can get me to play another character. cruel is a lot easier then normal but normal was horrible to play through.

Yeah, it's been one of the worst if not the worst gaming experience I've had in a long time.
It's a shame, 0.1.0 got the campaign right. But it's more than the campaign, it's the pace of the game. Endgame has the same problem. - No power fantasy unless you use busted builds. I feel the same at lvl 20 as I do 80 relatively to opponents. - No relevant loot drops - No currency drops - No speed AT ALL, the game feels like walking simulator - No chance to test skills or crafting in campaign due to no gems / mats etc.etc.etc. It's really a shame. I don't know how they went so wrong so fast. In addition to that, the way they nerf things is so ridiculously bad and over the top it's nonsensical. Beyond how they butchered every top build, they butchered builds people didn't even look at they were already so bad. They nerfed builds that are worth hundreds of divines, which would be a goal to keep players engaged and striving to achieve (like temporalis & stat stackers with astramentis), instead of just toning them down slightly. I really don't get why they straight up want to make the game a pain for anyone playing it. |

Spending 40-50 hours on a campaign every league (and I do admit if you're playing every league then you'll eventually get that number down, but realistically we're not all like streamers who no-life this game) is just unrealistic.
The patching, overly large maps, and fast/swarming monsters do not help in the slightest. I enjoyed the campaign the first time because I'd never played a POE game before, even with the oversized Act 3 maps, but doing this every few months is just rough. No way I'm doing this repeatedly. |
