POE2 crashing at trial of sekhemas

I started the trial of sekhemas in Poe2. I got 2 levels in, went afk for a short time and the game crashed. Now anytime I enter the area and attempt to approach the Alter to start the encounter again I crash. This has happened more then a dozen times over the last 3 days.
