Regarding the change to rare mobs always appearing on minimap
Hey, I know this is a hot take, but I don't really like the idea of rares appearing on the map as soon as you enter. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree that there is a problem with missing rares, but I think there is a bit of a better solution.
Right now we see all rares when 200 monsters are left in the map, but, as Mark said in the recent interview with Zizaran, for small maps that's barely halfway trough the map and for huge ones it feels too late. My proposal is to change the 200 monsters number to a percentage - maybe even 75% - I don't know the exact number. I think this way there would be some time when entering a map where you're "blind" and actually going around looking instead of beelining straight for the closest rare you see. I feel like it is a bandaid fix like checkpoints, they need to come up with better map objectives. In the mean time ripping the bandaid back off isnt going to do anything good.

this is something that was needed months ago
I would also say that ritual's and breaches should show up immediately as well. They can exclude expedition because that is hot garbage and nobody wants to run those anyways. |
