Game is dropping loot but I can’t pick it up

The game is dropping loot and I can’t see it on my screen but I can’t pick anything up. I made a new character and it was working great then the game had an unknown error and kicked me out. Once I went back in finished killing the boss the loot dropped I can hear it drop and I can see it but there’s no way to pick it up or even see what it is. This is super frustrating when you’re just trying to play the game. Any ideas how to fix this issue
