Guild bug?

I accidentally added my own account as a friend (playing on xbox) and I believe that's confused the game and I can no longer add or promote people in my clan, which I am the leader in. The guild tab in social shows my account as leader, but it appears how a friend's account would and says I've been offline for 10 weeks.
