Appeal for Fair Investigation: viliad#0028 Wrongfully Banned in POE2 (Clean Play Record)
Dear Game Administrator,
I am the owner of account viliad#0028. Prior to the ban, I had been inactive in Path of Exile 2 for an extended period—a fact corroborated by my login history. Upon learning of the 0.2.0 update, I returned to the game a few days ago to create a Mercenary character. During this session, I only purchased one item from the official trade market and retrieved several starter gear from my guild’s stash to test the Mercenary class’s early-game gameplay. All my actions are traceable in your backend logs, and I solemnly confirm that I have never used unauthorized third-party software. Could this ban be a case of mistaken identity? I’ve learned from in-game friends that many players, including myself, have been banned. This may be linked to cheaters exploiting bots in guild stashes, but I assure you I have had no involvement in such activities and strictly adhere to all game rules. I recognize the challenges of maintaining fair gameplay, especially against script-abusing cheaters. While mass bans are sometimes necessary, I implore you to investigate my case thoroughly and revert the ban. With the approaching new league, I sincerely hope to rejoin the community and experience the exciting new content as a dedicated player who has always abided by the rules. I have already sent a request for ban reversal to the relevant email address support@grindinggear.com, but I have not received a response yet. Hi there, in order to appeal a ban that has been placed on your account, you will need to log into that account on the Path of Exile website and go to your account profile. On that page there will be an option to appeal your ban, in the sidebar on the right side of the page.
If you have not done so already, please submit your ban appeal on the website and it will be reviewed by a senior member of staff as soon as possible. Once an appeal has been processed, it is not possible to appeal a second time, and we are not able to process any ban appeals made via our Support team. Need help with something?
