Account Issues

Hi all, I'm looking for some help with my account. When I initially started up POE2 and I tried logging in I think it made me an account but had me go to the site and had me make another account. I didn't realize this until I experienced a couple problems. I was automatically started on the account the game made for me, but I'm unable to log into that account on the website. I spent my points on the game made account and already have a couple characters on it. I noticed I didn't get my Twitch drop or my item filters and that's when I saw the problem. The account I made on the site wasn't the one I've been playing on. If I switch to the account I made on the site I lose all my cosmetics and progress. If I don't switch accounts I wont be able to use item filters or get Twitch drops. Is there a way I can get the account information for my game made account in game or something? Am I just out of luck and have to switch accounts and lose all cosmetics and progress? Any help or insight is appreciated.

How are you logging into the game?
I find it difficult to justify optional purchases to support a Tencent-owned development studio that declines to provide customers Technical Support, regardless of how many thousands of euros that customer has spent...
