Character Inaccessible Due To Game Breaking Bug (POE 2)

I entered the temple of Kopec on Act 3 after getting the needed quest item and immediately the game started stuttering with the gears on loading the map. Then it crashed suddenly. Now the game keeps crashing every single time I relaunch it for this one character.

I verified the files and nothing seems to be wrong. I suppose I can re-install. But it there a different way to fix this guys?

And any idea what to do if I spend an hour and a half redownloading this game and still occurring?

Verified the files 2 times and this time it spotted 3 corrupted files. After the repair it seems to have loaded my character.
