Disconnect error

I'm so unlucky to get a disconnect error approximately every 5 minutes, and I'm experiencing a lot of in-game lag.

Am I the only one?

Nope. Someone made a thread about PoE2 in the PoE1 tech support forum where multiple people are having the same issue. I don't mind an odd disconnect now and again, but this is becoming unbearable considering it rolls back every time.

Its been happening to me for approx 2 days, rolls back every time hoping this will be fixed soon as it seems to be a server wide issue because everytime this happens i just refuse to play the game.

I'm having the same issue and it's driving me insane. This update has generally ironed out a lot of the performance issues I was having on launch and to be honest I've had very little to no latency issues, but none of that matters if about every 10 minutes or so I get disconnected and rolled back. Even if the rollback is sometimes only a minute or so it kills all momentum and stops me wanting to play at all.

Which sucks a lot because I was really enjoying the update :/

Same issue here, I was playing for about 1-2h last night and made maybe 20minutes of progress.

It disconnected about every 5-10 minutes, not enough to finish a map and often not even time for a trip back to town so as it deletes your saves it wastes hours of progress. I started trying to port to town to trigger a save every few minutes which mitigated it slightly but it was still a collossal waste of time.

I don't understand why it doesn't pause the instance and save like it does with an actual disconnect, for example if you just close the game it saves your progress.

Something is massively wrong.

BTW I was on London server if that helps.

Having the exact same problem on the London server. I have found that the issue isn't as bad on the Amsterdam server, had some lag spikes and the odd disconnect on there too, but nowhere near as frequent with the disconnects as the London server right now.

It's silly that GGG haven't at least said anything about this yet.

This is really sad. While progressing the Atlas and get a disconnect the Map failed!!

Please fix that!!

It's been going on for 5 days now in the EU being disconnected and rolled back 10+ times every day. Still no official acknowledgement from what I've seen.

You're not alone.
I've been facing the same issue — Just now i got disconnected 6 to 7 times in just an hour of gameplay. And of course, every time I log back in, all map discovery is lost. It's incredibly frustrating.

At this point, I'm giving up.
This problem has been around since the start of the league, and it just keeps getting worse. Really disappointing.
