Unique Strongbox Ixiotol Torment Won't Open!

Of course i'm screwed out of the first unique chest I see I was not able to interact with the strongbox to open it I was only able to hold x to use currency on it but pressing x or whatever button you assign interact on did absolutely nothing. So i'm cheated out of my loot due to bugs. Fix & compensate
