Omen of secret compartments - didnt open beetle box twice

Not to hijack the existing thread, but being somewhat similar in nature (also previously reported but will add it here for the same visibility):

Corrupting a Rain Festival Beetle strongbox doesn't work either (or did not as of 0.3). Applying a Vaal Orb is a presented option for the strongbox, but the items dropped by the beetle are not corrupted.

I am guessing it has something to do with the strongbox turning into the Beetle who drops the loot, perhaps ceasing to be the original strongbox or something. It's an interesting bit of content, but doesn't interact well with other strongbox mechanics at the moment.
