- Rapid Assault cannot currently be supported by Crescendo, even though it has a Final Strike as part of the skill

Feedback
- The Skill in its current state does not feel rewarding or viable to use whatsoever.
- It's damage is extremely low, which is strange since its a single target skill, and should in theory do solid single target dps. Even with a solid rolled spear w/ a lvl 32 base, brutality and rage support, it takes 5 full uses of the skill to kill a lvl 34 white mob. Its damage to bosses is non existent, which is where it should shine.

- This point is adjacent to the skill, but I hope in the future you add a support gem that allows other skills to be detonators, as there are very few options, especially for spears, to detonate

Agree the skill is very poorly performing rn. I want to go bleed build with my huntress and thought this would be nice single target bleed but it's worse than rake. Makes no sense.
Well, it's not a bleed skill at all, as bleed needs a strong impactful one hit skill to be strong, as it litteraly have a detonation and fire damage type, it's a pilediver, not a bleed starter. It's succession of low damage hits, it scale well with elemental damage, extra damage and interaction, it's meant for herald of Fire type build with chunk to the life of an ennemy and then explode it with your exploding spear to spread the fire, maybe a construct build would be fine with this.

But yeah, it's not a feel good skill at the moment anyway

The final hit bleeds hence my thinking it would be nice for a bleed build. And given its narrow range I woulda thought it does more damage single target but that's also a no. It's not really intuitive to me at all. What am I even supposed to detonate it with? The only skill I have with detonater tag is the explosive spear and that's it. And it doesn't seem that great a combo at all.

If its not meant to be usable in bleed it seems bleed needs more options. Cause then all I've got is rake and the bleed from a support gem.
+1 to the idea it should count as a "Final Strike"

Guys, before shitting on a skill maybe do some more research into how it works.

Rapid assault is absolutely a great skill for single target damage to apply big bleeds. It doesnt have any fire damage conversion. Detonating the spearheads combines them into a single big hit. Ive tested this myself.

Thats 546*5 = 2730% weapon damage at gem level 20, just for the final detonation.
The previous strikes to apply those spearheads also do damage of course.

Rapid Strike (Spears in general tbh) has been solid (but could still use some tweaking) since 0.4 balance pass. If you stack the spear heads then detonate, that's a big boom.

I like "vision" gameplay, currently struggling in T15s running Splinter of Loratta @ in the early 90s, prolly just need to upgrade my gear but I play pseudo ssf.

But Rapid Strike is definitely programmed in wrong.

Like iirc each Strike doesn't always count as a Hit for certain things that Proc On Hit, so you can't get quick stacks in certain situations. I wanna say Rage is an example but can't recall specific examples I am sure of rn.

Maybe make a Bug Report about the Support Gem issue? I think I've made a /bug report about the On Hit issue last season or early this season.
Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
