Nexus Issue

I completed my first nexus and i killed all rare monsters on the map on last rare monster boss never spawned doryiani never came to cleanse corruption and i cant progress my waystones tier maps this way? Please Advise.

Complete a Tier 2+ corrupted nexus i have as a quest i did complete it with a tier 2 waystone but nothing happened and Doryiani never came to cleanse corruption once again stuck in the same tier. Please Advise. Do we always need to put a tier higher waystone on nexus just to be sure? Meaning always doing boss maps first and then nexus? Kindly Advise the situation has become so confusing.
