Tornadoes and Whirlwinds do not interact well together at all
When using Tornado as the main ability and then using different Whirlwind abilities together, the whole interaction simply breaks.
A single whirlwind + tornado is easy to trigger and fine, but when you use Whirlwind Lance with Salvo and other extra Projectiles, your Tornadoes simply stop interacting with the existing Whirlwinds. You need to constantly spam new tornadoes to trigger them to create more tornadoes from the existing whirlwinds, rather than old tornadoes being able to trigger them. Additionally, if you get multiple tornadoes from Whirlwind Slash Stage 3 + Tornado, only a single one will actually trigger other existing Whirlwinds to become Tornadoes. This, coupled with the fact that Whirlwind Lance still doesn't seem to be fixed despite the last bug fix in terms of simply disappearing or not creating Tornadoes at all, makes the whole build combo of Whirlwind Slash + Tornado + Whirlwind Lance extremely inconsistent. Whirlwind Lance also has MASSIVE performance issues, always crashing the game multiple times a map. Please address these things. To re-produce the issues: " Last bumped on Apr 13, 2025, 11:07:45 AM

This issue is as of yet (08/04/2025 16:06 CET) still not fixed.
The recent changes to Whirlwind Lance have made it slightly better, but the issue of Tornadoes not converting existing Whirlwinds into new Tornadoes persists. |

I'm using whirlwind lance with salvo and spectral volley and a frenzy usually, plus barrage (with inhibitor because that's not where I want the frenzy charges going) and it seems fine to me? I give the whirlwind persistence and acceleration and I throw one and end up with several large tornadoes. I guess I haven't done the match but visually it seems fine.
It's be amazing if the tornadoes didn't pop the whirwinds haha, there'd be so much going on |
