Thorns, Caltrops and Spear Thread (possible guide later).

Hey good people.

Yesterday I started playing with the idea of thorns + caltrops.
I do have to state that this whole idea came to me beacuse I didn't read the gem carefuylly and I thought I could caltrops + bow skills haha.
Turned out I couldn't.

So far the 2 best skills I found for "good" caltrops aplication were the regular spear throw and the far superior Lightning Lance or whatever it's called.

Together with scatter shot and caltrops we're basically releasing somwhere aroung 9 caltrops per throw. There also seems to be a limit on active caltrops.

It also seems flat thorns help us increase caltrops damage (I'll have to further test this) and this seems quite confusing cause the gems states "Increases and reductions". To my understanding of those words it means anything that says "% increased thorns damage" applies but I'll have to dive deeper into all of this.

The last thing is, increasing dexterity and attack speed is quite beneficial. Dex increases damage for caltrops and obviously attack speed helps delivering more caltrops per second.

Ive tested this on an amazon, I have a feeling going bleed or something of the like is the way to go.

I'll update this thread with more info and probably a working character if I end up with one.
