Tame beast bug with Trusted Kinship

After choosing Trusted Kinship, there's a bug that prevents me to upgrade my companion gem.

It says: "Warning: 60 Spirit required to use (Current Spirit: 100)"

So, that companion gem is not upgradable, for some reason.

Moreover, when socketing 2 companions gem, often it says "Companion limit reached" when trying to toggling both auras, regardless Trusted Kinship and the spirit allocated.

In those cases it is needed to unsocket both companion gems and resocketing them, and to try a few times before it works.

Both bugs are pretty annoying and prevent my progression with my companion beasts.

I'm having the same problem with getting the second beast to resummon, says companion limit reached but unsocketing and resocketing isn't working for me. I have enough spirit and Trusted Kinship.

im getting the same problem. i fluked them both out after the maintenance/hotfix or whatever earlier, so i thought maybe it was fixed, but it started doing that again once i tried to swap out a beast. the new one has an even lesser spirit cost than the previous. i've tried socketing/unsocketing, resterting the client, no dice. it just decides for itself when it's gonna work or not

note: i found a reliable workaround process, and it's weird but it works.

1- have both beasts in your inventory
2- put one beast in your socket, and activate it. then remove it from your socket without deactivating it. your spirit will be restored.
3- put other beast gem into your socket like the first, and activate it. then remove it from your inventory without deactivating it. your spirit will be restored.
4- now put one of the beast gems back into your socket. it will deplete the spirit it needs automatically and come into the socket activated. then do the same with the second beast gem, and it will come into the socket already activated as well. there you have your two beasts activated
