Hexblast Timing & Contagion Targeting:

Hello,
I just want to make sure this is seen and relayed to the proper teams.

Hexblast Timing:
This is not a bug but has to do with the additional delay that is being stated on the skill itself, which is causing Hexblast to.. well become useless. With the addition to Hexblast: "Can only detonate Curses for which at least half of the duration has expired". This makes Hexblast not even a viable skill during clearing and in my opinion does not feel like I want to even use during bossing. I have better use of the curses and casting Essence Drain on them vs detonating them.

Please have this looked at and hopefully remove the additional delays.

Look, I get removing the use of Blasphemy with Hexblast. That makes sense if POE2 is to be a more active playstyle and would still be viable to cast a curse or two manually, (Which Hexblast is supposed to detonate all curses, but only detonates one) then be able to detonate said curses once they are deployed. I would actually enjoy it if that was the case. But adding the additional delay to detonate curses in my opinion, is not the way to go about removing the use of Blasphemy. Instead I think the skill has been killed off by this.
With a wait time to even apply a curse on enemies. 1.5 base time to deploy. Which I think is still acceptable, but to wait an additional 3-5 seconds on top of that seems a bit much. I have died almost every time trying to play this way. I don't think shortening the delays would be how to go about it but seemed to be the only way I could think of making it viable but still didn't work as I hoped.
I am better of just using EDC for the sake of not dying unfortunately.

I hope this is seen and Hexblast is looked at fully to have a proper way to detonate without the use of Blasphemy and without a serous delay. Half the time to detonate I think could be even 1% to not use Blasphemy (Infinite timed curses) and would still be viable. Maybe instead of % a 0.1 second time of duration to detonate instead I would hope keep from the use of Blasphemy and allow manual curses to be deployed and then detonated. I am just suggesting here, I leave this to the devs to actually investigate and resolve. GL and thank you!



Contagion Targeting:
Contagion at times does not target the enemy I am "targeting" or mousing over and seeing the enemies health bar. It seems to almost have a mind of its own. The only other way I can explain my experience with it: I expect it to hit target A but it hits target Z in left field. I am not sure if this is more a latency issue between client/server or an overlapping issue of the enemies or even some sort of mouse over delay or issue. Sorry for lack of details with this but that is really all I have. Targeting can be off at times and I am not sure the cause unfortunately.

The delay is just adding insult to the injury.


For your targeting issue it is with anything, they have some weird aim assist on mouse and keyboard for odd reasons. Maybe it helps, but often time it is over tuned.

True it does feel like some sort of aim assist thinking about it. I do not see an option for this. If they could add some function to adjust it I would definitely like to see if that would be the way to help this situation. Most aim assist in games does have some sort of enable/disable at the least. I personally would prefer to disable it and can definitely see use for it needing to be enabled.
