Totem Placement

I'm currently struggling with two issues regarding totem placement when using the controlled:

1) For the manual placement option with the blue ring, the placement cursor is MUCH too sensitive. It's extremely hard to actually pick a spot and ends up being placed randomly a lot of the time.

2) For automatic placement, please give us a skill option where we can decide if the totem is placed next to ourselves or next to the target. It's really annoying that my Dark Effigy is always placed right next to the boss where it dies quickly, instead of next to me where it's safer. Especially considering manual placement is so bad (see 1).
